You turned 5 in June - Hard to believe my baby boy has been with us for 5 yrs allready!! We had a little party out at Kholo for you, with the family & Decklin, Melissa & Dean came along too. Your 'big' pressie was a scooter - it is HUGE *lol* At least mummy & daddy can have some fun on it as well ;-)
You have been through a barrage of testing just lately, to try and figure out why you have trouble with your speech & learning in general. You were such a brave boy when it came to having the blood tests. Your paediatrician is called Dr McGregor & he is lovely. You got on really well with him, which made the visit alot easier.
You went for an MRI on your brain on 28th July & we just went and got all the results yesterday. The good news is that they found nothing wrong with you at all, so now we know that we just have to keep working along as we have been. You have started going to the Ipswich special school on Mondays. Your teachers are Claire & Sandra & they are both wonderful ladies. You talk about school allready, which is a great sign, as often you are closed mouthed about things you don't like or want to talk about.
There are only 4 others in your class & the focus is on communication. I am feeling very positive about this new school, and only wish you could go every day! Yesterday you baked bikkies...I had a nibble, but must confess that the rest ended up in the bin ;-) They would have made great door stops!! *lol*
Behaviour wise - well we have our good days - and of course the down right shockers! Hopefully with all the extra help you are getting, you will find new ways to get your point across, rather than by tantrums or throwing things etc
Keep on going little man!!
