First day of Daycare!!

What a grin!! What a cutie! What a big boy!!

You had your first day at 'school' yesterday. We packed your Elmo backpack with the essentials - nappies, Bahbah (blanket) and a sheet for sleeptime.

We had to drop off Meg and Zach first and you wanted to put your bag away with Zachs and play dinosaurs in his classroom, but eventually you decided to come back in the car, and off to your school we went.

When we got to school we put your bag away and went into the roomw ith all the kids. It was very noisy and you looked a little overwhelmed at first. When the teacher came up to say hello you hid behind mummys leg for a little while, but soon we were off exploring the room.

You found some trucks and we had a game with them, before quickly moving on to puzzles and then blocks.

Mummy then told you it was tiem for me to go and you jumped up and clung on and said NOOOOO. However I took you over to the teacher and you happily went off to find another truck.

Mummy and Daddy came back to pick you up in the afternoon and you had just woken up. You were a little sad and calling out for mummy...I guess it was a little strange waking up in a new place. The teachers said you had a good day though and you told us it was fun. You don't seem too keen on going back again, but we will see how you go tomorrow - day 2 of operation daycare!
