Choccy time!

Yup - that time of yr again - easter!! Cannot believe how fast this yr has gone...it really is scary.

On Good Friday we all went out to Kholo to have a family get together, due to Kel's kids being with their dad for the rest of the w/e.

We weren't exactly traditional, as we fired up the bbq and ate meat (I did have fish the day before, so that's my excuse!).

Kidlets got some yummy chocsfrom Aunty Jen & Tim, aunty Kell & the girls and Grandma and Poppa arranged an egg hunt and gave the kidlets some nice cold, hard cash!! Which went down a treat! lol

Jen even surprised the growed ups with choccy!! I got some Lindt balls - my faves!! (Oh and I think I was supposed to share with Andy...hehehe)

We didn't do much, kidlets ran around and tired out, adults sat round and had a drink or two and chatted and it was a lovely relaxing way to spend a day together.

Only down side, was that our car refused to start when we went to leave - turned out to be a flat battery, so we borrowed Marks jumper leads to get it going and went to buy a new battery.

Easter Sunday ~ The kidlets actually slept in til 6.30, which was a nice surprise! They all came to wake us up so we could see what the "binny" (Ethans language) had left for them.

They were all impressed with the choccy and the letter from the binny....and that he had eaten all his carrot and drunk his water.

Ethan then spent the next half hr breaking every piece of his chocolate into miniscule little pieces and took great joy in spreading it round the floor!!! Luckily mummy had the foresight to spread out a blanket beforehand huh?? lol

The rest of the day was spent with the kidlets playing outside and Andy and I relaxing inside. Nothing spectacular, but a good day overall :-)
