A bit about nothing..

Just wanted to upload some pics really. Sam loves being outside and usually of an afternoon we all troupe outside and the kidlets run wild and Sam stares around at the trees and grins at thin air...These pics were taken yesterday and they are so cute, I just had to share ;-)

Sam has started to copy us now when we poke our tongue out - now you start talking to him and he starts with the smiles and grins and you ask him where his tongue is - and he pokes it out *lol* So cute!! He has the goofiest grin - it just melts my heart when he does it. He is so close to full on laughing as well - makes a little noise, but not quite there yet. He does 'talk' now though - little noises and 'stories' he makes while we play.

Daddy is thoroughly enraptured! They seem to have a great bond and sit there making silly faces at each other for ages. Daddy does seem to pick the most inopportune moments though - like when he should be burping before bedtime - but then Sam grins and I get caught up in it a well - no wonder the darn kid isn't sleeping well ;-)

Poor Ethan has been sick :-( He spent all day yesterday on the couch with a high temp, then had diarrhoea and vomitting last night and has had a mega cough for a few days now. Took him to the doc today and he has some meds, so hopefully he will make a huge improvement ASAP.

Of course while we were waiting for the doctor he was full of beans - I doubt the people in the surgery suspected he was the one waiting for an appt. He loudly announced that he had nits and asked me to take them outof his hair! I tried to make out that he was talking about monkeys and said "Yes Eth, monkeys get nits" *lol* but the little bugger just got louder and said "NOOO mummy - ME got nits" - times like that I wish he couldn't speak quite so well ;-)

He also started coughing while we were there and i reminded him to cover his mouth so he wouldnn't spread his germs....so he coughed politely into his hand - then tried to hand me his germs! He is a crack up that kid.

At one stage he took my handbag and announced that he was the mummy - so I went through a list of chores and things that he would have to do and he play acted his way through a few of them...he must have decided he had had enough work though, as he handed my bag back and said "no more - you the mummy now".

Just got confirmation that Zach will be off to special school full time next yr - which is great news. It means he won't be lost in the public school system and won't have a chance of getting left behind and not catching up.

Anyway my sick lil man is wanting to sit on me -so I guess that is my cue to get off here for now...stay tuned, same time, same place, same bat channel :-P
